The teapot that grew the garden represents little worlds inside stories. The twine and scissors show someone whom has just been arranging the flowers, shaping them into something beautiful, the twine is what holds things together and the scissors are what sets them free.
This fun explosion of colour is part of A Blooming Riot, a body of work where I allow colour to behave playfully and joyfully. The artwork measures 50 × 60 cm and is mixed media on wood.
